Job Description

This company is hiring a Generative AI Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and deploying AI-powered automation solutions for products and internal operations. This role extends beyond AI for robotics and involves creating systems that improve operational efficiency using state-of-the-art machine learning and generative AI technologies. Core Responsibilities: Develop AI systems using techniques in machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI. Automate various processes tied to the company's robotics and operational platforms. Use prompt engineering to optimize large language models for internal tools and products. Collaborate with robotics, software, and infrastructure teams to embed AI into both hardware and cloud-based systems. Communication & Cross-Team Collaboration: Break down technical concepts related to large language models for stakeholders without technical backgrounds. Work jointly with hardware, software, and business units to ensure the proper application of AI technologies. Continuously research advancements in generative AI and evaluate their application within the company’s product ecosystem. You will work within an innovative company focused on advancing logistics automation through robotics. Their main products, including autonomous robots that are designed to transform logistics operations in Japan and globally. The engineering team comprises robotics specialists, software developers, and infrastructure engineers. This role bridges advanced AI capabilities with practical automation, contributing to both research-driven projects and customer-facing deployments.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in machine learning and software development
• 3 years of hands-on Python programming
• 2 years working with shell scripting
• At least 1 year of practical experience with large language models and generative AI
• 1 year of experience in prompt engineering
• Strong communication skills for diverse audiences
• Business-level proficiency in English

Preferred Skills

• Experience With Natural Language Processing
• Familiarity With MLOps CI/CD Containerization And Model Deployment
• Background Working With Robotics Products
• Intermediate Japanese Proficiency Or Higher

Salary Range

¥6M - ¥12M (based on skills, experience, and abilities)
